The site for our ceremony and reception is at a new music venue in Omaha called The Slowdown. It is located sort of near the Qwest Center at 14th and Webster in the Old Market, and there are lots of things to do in the area (a good topic for a later post!).
Here are a few pictures from The Slowdown's website so you can see what kind of space we're working with. The architecture is very modern and industrial, and we find it very beautiful. The ceremony will take place up on the stage, and then dancing right below! The lounge area will be open for those who want to get away from the music and just chat or snack. There is also a photobooth at The Slowdown, so lots of fun possibilities there!
