work on the invites day

Yesterday my betrothed and I spent all day at my mom and dad's house working on wedding invitations.

One of us got her hands on a perforator and used to make a tear-off reply card portion for the invitation. This is such a handy rotary wheel, I know I'm going to use it for lots of other projects (tear-off tickets...paper art projects....W-2 tax forms?).

And one of us got his hands on an xbox controller and remained quiet and happy for the whole night. Us having an xbox 360 or similar console in our marriage would be exactly as helpful and convenient as a parent having a portable dvd player in the backseat of the minivan.

"He's getting kind of fussy."
